Why the choice to produce preserves

As the name implies, preserves are foods made to be preserved for a long time while maintaining their organoleptic and nutritional characteristics. All this thanks to thermal treatments capable of destroying any infecting microorganism. The foods, therefore, remain intact and in perfect conditions for aroma and flavor, always ready to be brought to the table with excellent results.

Our canned food products from Sicily are distinguished by the exceptional quality of the raw materials of which the island is rich and which we carefully select, being present on the fields or on board the fishing boats that sail our seas. The food is processed as soon as it is harvested or as soon as it is caught, processed manually and placed in glass jars that are perfectly sterilized at high temperatures. The food stored in this way keeps for years without losing any flavor or aroma.
